Teh Pokémon Company today unveiled Pokémon Pokopia, a brand-new title slated for release on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. The game marks a meaningful departure for the franchise, offering a life-simulation experiance reminiscent of Animal Crossing, centered around building and customizing a world for Pokémon.
Pokémon Pokopia casts players as a Ditto with a human appearance, tasked with transforming a barren wasteland into a thriving paradise. Players will learn moves from Pokémon they encounter, utilizing these skills to gather resources like berries, rocks, and wood, craft furniture, cultivate crops, and construct homes for a diverse array of Pokémon. pre-orders for the digital version of the game will open in the Nintendo eShop on November 12th.
