Pokémon Go Fest 2026 Mega Finale Brings Back Armored Mewtwo
<>
Pokémon Go Fest 2026: Mega Finale runs as a free, unticketed global event on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time each day.
Event Structure and Raid Distribution Mechanics
The end-of-summer celebration alters standard gameplay loops significantly. In their place, Mega Ascension and Mega Finale raids take over the map.
Raid distribution shifts to accommodate high-tier bosses without breaking gym usability. During event hours, Mega Mewtwo spawns at 30 percent of eligible Super Mega Raid Gyms, while 60 percent of other Gyms host standard Mega Raids. Outside event hours, all non-Super Mega Raid Gyms feature regular Mega Raids. Furthermore, remote raid limits are entirely lifted from Saturday through Sunday, giving global players unrestricted access to encounters.
