Week 4 of the 2025 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) season promises high-stakes action, with the Maryland Whipsnakes hosting a homecoming weekend in Baltimore. The PLL features four games this Saturday and Sunday, showcasing critical matchups that could significantly impact playoff standings.

New York Atlas vs. Philadelphia Waterdogs

When: Saturday, 4 p.m. ET

This game features a clash between the top two overall picks from the 2021 PLL draft: Jeff Teat (No. 1) and Michael Sowers (No. 2). Teat, the reigning Jim Brown MVP Award winner, faces off against Sowers, an early favorite for the same honor this season.

The availability of SSDM Danny Logan is crucial for the Atlas.The team is 1-0 in games with Logan this season and 0-2 without him. Logan is a three-time winner of the George Boiardi hard Hat SSDM of the Year award.

Waterdogs Watch

Michael Sowers’ assists-per-game rate has steadily increased, exploding to 4.7 per game in 2025. He is on pace to break Teat’s single-season assists record of 36, set last season.

Kieran McArdle enters the weekend ranked sixth on the all-time goals leaderboard with 309 goals and is eight points shy of his 500th career point.
