Physical: Asia – Netflix’s New Nation-vs-Nation Competition

netflix Announces ‘Physical: Asia’ with combat‌ Sports Stars Pacquiao, Superbon Leading national Teams

Netflix is expanding its hit reality competition series Physical: 100 with⁤ Physical: Asia, a new installment featuring a nation-vs-nation format. The show will pit 48 athletes representing eight ‍Asian countries – Korea, Japan,​ Thailand, Mongolia, Türkiye, Indonesia, Australia, and‍ the Philippines – against ⁤each other‌ in a battle for national pride.

This‌ season marks a​ shift from the individual challenges of previous iterations. Each national team⁣ comprises six members, guided by a ​prominent athlete or public figure. Leading ⁣the charge‌ are UFC veteran Dong-hyun “stun Gun” kim (Korea), former ‌UFC middleweight champion Robert ⁢Whittaker (Australia), boxing legend Manny Pacquiao (the Philippines), ONE featherweight kickboxing champion Superbon (Thailand), and MMA fighter Yushin Okami (Japan). Mongolia and Türkiye will ⁢be led​ by conventional wrestling specialists Orkhonbayar Bayarsaikhan and Recep Kara, respectively, while ⁢bodybuilder​ Igedz “Executioner” will captain the indonesian⁢ team.

Physical: asia is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Netflix in October.
