Phoebe Bridgers starts Lost Tour at Intuit Dome with phone-free policy

Phoebe Bridgers starts Lost Tour at Intuit Dome with phone-free policy

November 1, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Phoebe Bridgers launched her Lost Tour at Inglewood’s Intuit Dome with a strict phone-free policy, requiring attendees to lock their devices in fabric pouches before entering the arena.

Surrendering Devices for an Intimate Arena Experience

As fans walked into the venue for the first of three hometown shows on Friday night, venue employees collected their phones and sealed them away, cutting off access to clocks, cameras, and voice recorders until the end of the concert. Bridgers explained to the crowd that the mandatory policy was necessary to protect the vulnerability of her performance, noting that without it, intimate moments would immediately turn into online video clips subjected to public commentary. The absence of glowing screens left the thousands in attendance exceptionally quiet, creating an atmosphere where the artist’s speaking voice carried clearly across the arena floor.

Bridgers Showcases Lost Weekend Album During Live Concert

The concert functioned as a live showcase for Bridgers’ latest album, Lost Weekend, which is widely expected to secure multiple nominations at February’s Grammy Awards. The record and the tour address heavy personal subjects, including the death of her father and her romantic relationship with comedian Bo Burnham, balanced by a sharp comedic sensibility. The show opened with the album’s funeral-themed track, The Outside, before moving through folky ballads like Kill Me and The Governor’s Waltz, as well as rock tracks including Bobby and Lost Boys. Bridgers performed across two stages—one set beneath an illuminated dome resembling a greenhouse or spaceship, and a smaller circle positioned near the center of the arena floor—while she and her band wore Peter Pan and Tinker Bell costumes ahead of Halloween.

Guest performers joined Bridgers during the night, including Billie Eilish for a rendition of Savior Complex, indie-pop band Muna for Silk Chiffon, and Bridgers’ younger brother, Jackson, who provided vocals on I Can’t Wait. Despite a brief technical hiccup with a keyboard at the start of the title track for Lost Weekend, the performance proceeded without the distraction of recording devices, leaving the audience entirely focused on the raw delivery of songs such as As Above.

“Had phones been allowed, this very moment would have been a TikTok video with someone who doesn’t like my face commenting on it.”
