‘Star Wars’ Voice actress Shelby young Engaged to Samuel Houser
shelby Young, known for her extensive voice work in the Star Wars franchise and role on Days of Our Lives, announced her engagement to product designer samuel Houser on Monday.
Young shared the news on Instagram, posting a carousel of photos and videos documenting the proposal. The couple, who began dating in early 2022, became engaged at The Ritz-Carlton in O’ahu, turtle Bay. “with our powers combined,” Young captioned the post.
The actress has frequently featured Houser on her Instagram account, celebrating birthdays, New year’s, and professional milestones. Their engagement comes nearly four years after they frist connected.
Fellow actors quickly responded to the declaration, including Danielle Fishel of Boy Meets World, who wrote, “Congratulations!!” and Carly King, a voiceover actress, who commented, “OMGGG congratulations you two!!” Michaela Jill murphy of Avatar: The Last Airbender also offered her congratulations.
young’s career includes on-screen roles as Kinsey on Days of Our Lives and Stephanie in an unaired LazyTown pilot. Though,she is primarily recognized for her voice acting work. Recent projects include Tron: Ares, Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Superman.
Within the Star wars universe, Young has lent her voice to numerous projects, including Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, Skeleton Crew, The Acolyte, Star Wars: Tales of the Empire, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
