Paul Anka Lists California Home for $8.99M, Relocates to Nevada
Paul Anka, the celebrated singer-songwriter, is seeking a buyer for his Westlake Village, California estate, listing the property for $8.99 million. The move comes as Anka prepares to relocate to Nevada, where he previously resided, while maintaining a smaller residence in Los Angeles.
“I have now chosen to relocate to Nevada, where I used to live for many years, and I will maintain a smaller home in Los Angeles,” Anka stated, according to a statement obtained by the Fresh York Post. He explained that he had initially listed the property for $10 million in 2024 but decided to hold off to complete renovations and, crucially, to utilize the home’s recording studio for his recently released album, “Inspirations of Life and Love.”
The estate, located within the Sherwood Country Club community, spans more than six acres – one of the largest lots in the area – and offers views of the golf course, surrounding greens, and nearby mountains. A gated driveway leads to a motor court capable of accommodating over six vehicles. The residence itself features a two-story entry designed to maximize natural light.
Inside, the home showcases a collection of over 30 gold records from around the world, commemorating Anka’s own successes as well as songs he has written or produced for other artists. These include records for Michael Jackson, Michael Bublé, Donny Osmond, Buddy Holly, and Frank Sinatra, displayed prominently in a den and a room featuring a grand piano.
Recent updates to the property include a reimagined chef’s kitchen with a large center island and an adjacent eat-in space surrounded by windows. The estate also boasts a billiards room and a professional-grade recording studio where Anka completed his latest album. The primary suite includes a fireplace, two bathrooms, two closets, and a balcony overlooking the grounds.
The grounds feature an infinity-edge pool, meticulously maintained gardens, and an air-conditioned, glass-walled gym with an outdoor shower.
