Pakistan Launches Rs3.4 Billion NIETE Project to Transform Teacher Education

The federal government has allocated Rs3.4 billion for the establishment of the National Institute of Excellence in Teacher Education (NIETE), a project designed to build human capital. Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal announced the funding during a recent site visit, framing the institute as a primary vehicle for producing "world-class citizens" through systemic educational reform.
