Orvault Sparks Community Connection wiht innovative “Hello Zones” and “Blablabancs“
Orvault, France – in a unique initiative to foster neighborly interaction and combat social isolation, the municipality of Orvault has unveiled a novel concept: “Hello Zones” and “Blablabancs.” These specially designed public spaces aim to encourage spontaneous conversations and create a more welcoming atmosphere for residents.
The innovative installations are located in the Petit-Chantilly district, specifically on Rue Alexandre-Goupil, in front of the local facts center. While the concept might initially seem unconventional, its core purpose is to cultivate conviviality and encourage smiles and exchanges among the community.
This forward-thinking project emerged from a “Orvault,Fraternity Laboratory” evening held in May 2025. The event brought together approximately sixty representatives from associations, businesses, and foundations, sparking discussions and collaborations focused on strengthening community bonds. the municipality has since organized several meetings centered on the theme of fraternity.
Orvault residents are now invited to actively participate in the expansion of these “hello zones” and “blablabancs” within their own neighborhoods. Those interested in bringing these community-building spaces to their area can send a message to contact@mairie-orvault.fr.
