Oppo Reno 14 Shows Strong Gains Over Last Year’s Models in Early Testing

Stockholm,Sweden – ⁣2024/10/18 16:04:14 CEST – initial benchmarks of the Oppo Reno‌ 14 reveal significant performance improvements⁢ compared to devices ⁣released a year prior,positioning the new smartphone as a compelling option for users prioritizing graphics and processing power.Testing indicates considerable gains in graphics rendering ‍and overall system responsiveness, though thermal management remains ​an area for ⁢consideration.

The ‍Reno 14’s arrival comes as the smartphone⁤ market increasingly focuses on mobile gaming and demanding applications. These early results, ‌while not ⁢definitive, suggest oppo is successfully integrating newer ​technologies to deliver‌ a noticeably faster experience for consumers. Benchmark results⁤ show the Oppo Reno 14 achieving 60 FPS‌ in GFXBench Aztec Ruins ⁣Vulkan High, a 106% improvement over ‌comparable models‌ from 2023.⁢ In GFXBench⁢ Manhattan ES ‌3.0 Onscr., ​the⁢ device​ scored⁤ 60 FPS, representing ⁤a ⁢72% increase. 3DMark Wild Life Stress Best registered a score of 9627 (93% ‍better), while 3DMark Wild Life Stress Lowest yielded⁤ 5313 ‍(79%‌ improvement). Browser benchmarks also showed gains, with Google Octane scoring 33578 (62% improvement) and Jetstream 2 reaching 91,643 (56% improvement).

Testers highlighted the Reno ⁢14’s screen quality and build as key strengths. The inclusion⁢ of optical zoom‍ was also noted as a ⁣positive feature. However,the device exhibited some thermal throttling under sustained load and,while not specified,performance was‌ described ⁢as not “top tier.”
