“I actually kept it realy, really secret,” Barrus said of launching her OnlyFans account. “I had a lot of really bad reactions at the time and it’s influenced, for sure, how I interact with people now. I still don’t really tell people straight out. You have to get to know me a little bit.”
Notably, Barrus has not disclosed her OnlyFans career to her parents. She anticipates her father woudl likely choose to ignore the details to preserve their relationship.
“I don’t know if they’ll ever know,” she stated. “I feel like we’re in a really good place, though, where if they found out, I think my dad would just ignore it. I think he would pretend he still didn’t know, and I think that’s probably the best thing for our relationship.”
Barrus and her father maintain a close relationship, seeing each other several times a week.She believes his likely reaction would allow them to continue enjoying their bond without disruption.
