Olivier Giroud: 2026 World Cup Consultant Role Confirmed

Olivier Giroud has⁢ received a broadcast⁣ offer to cover the 2026 FIFA World Cup, ⁢signaling a‍ potential transition to football commentary for the recently⁤ retired international star. The 39-year-old, who concluded ⁣his France career after ⁢Euro 2024, was⁤ honored at the‌ Stade de France in March prior‌ to ⁢a Nations League match against Croatia and ‍has continued⁢ to ​field questions about a ​possible⁤ return to play, particularly following his⁢ successful stint with LOSC.

While Giroud remains‌ focused on staying⁢ involved in football,his immediate future appears⁢ to lie off the pitch.
