Group A’s last duel Presidential Cup bring together Arema FC vs Oxford United. The match took place at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency, Thursday (10/7/2025) night WIB.
The incident occurred when the game had only been running for four minutes. The stadium lights suddenly extinguished, thus forcing the referee to stop the match.

The duel was stopped for almost half an hour waiting for the stadium lights to turn on again. The players remain on the field to warm up.
The game is played again after the lights turn on again. Oxford United immediately scored a goal one minute of the match.
Przemyslaw Placeta broke the Arema FC goal via the first time kick, maximizing Jack Currie’s cross. Oxford United lead 1-0.
Oxford United doubled three minutes later. This time Ole Romeny who broke into the Arema FC goal with his shot. The U’s moves away 2-0.
Injury was suffered by Romeny shortly after scoring. He was pulled out and replaced by Louie Sibley after his feet were stepped on Paulinho.
Oxford United added a goal in the 43rd minute. Leo Snowden pursed into the ball to vomit in front of the goal in a free position, and delivered his team ahead 3-0 until halftime.
Oxford did not relax the attack in the second half. The header on the target of substitute players, Mark Harris, hit the Arema goalpost.

This victory ensures that Oxford United came out as Group A winners with 6 points. The English championship division club advanced to the 2025 Presidential Cup final and will meet Thailand’s representative, Port FC.
