Apple Arcade will add four novel games to its subscription service on March 5, including the long-awaited Oceanhorn 3: Legends of the Deep, the latest installment in the popular action role-playing series. The announcement follows the recent addition of titles like Civilization VII to the platform.
Oceanhorn 3 has been in development for five years, according to Apple. The game will be available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro. Heikki Repo, creator of the Oceanhorn series and creative director at Cornfox & Brothers, stated, “The upcoming release of Oceanhorn 3: Legends of the Deep on Apple Arcade represents the culmination of five years of passionate perform, bringing a brand-new adventure to players of all ages.” Repo added, “With the support of our friends at Apple, we’ve created something truly special, and we’re excited for both long-time fans and new adventurers to explore a rich new world filled with exciting characters and unforgettable stories.”
Apple highlighted the game’s “stunning console-quality graphics” and “innovative action and combat mechanics.” Alongside Oceanhorn 3, three additional titles will be added to the Apple Arcade library on March 5, bringing the total number of games available to over 200. These games are offered without advertisements or in-app purchases.
Apple Arcade is available as a standalone subscription for $6.99 per month or as part of an Apple One bundle.
