Number_i’s hit song “GOD_i” has secured the top spot on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 for a second consecutive week, according too the chart released May 28. This achievement underscores the group’s continued popularity and impact on the Japanese music scene.
Chart-Topping Success
The three-member group initially released “GOD_i” digitally on Jan. 27. It first reached No.1 on the Japan Hot 100 chart dated Feb. 5. The physical CD release on May 19,selling an extraordinary 400,505 copies,propelled the song back to the summit.
This week, “GOD_i” ranks No.2 in sales and No. 1 in downloads. It also holds No. 18 for video views and No. 43 for streaming.Other tracks by Number_i are also making waves, with “i_DOG” at No. 59, “Psycho” at No. 65, “Romijuri” at No. 74, and “Frisco” at No. 78.

Hinatazaka46’s “Love yourself!” claims the No. 2 spot. The group’s 14th single, initially released digitally on May 7, debuted at No. 55 on the Japan Hot 100. Angerme’s “Android wa Yume wo miruka?” makes its debut at No. 5. This marks the Hello! Project group’s eighth top 5 single, following “Ai Mashou” from 2022.
