Nuketown Returns to black Ops 7, But Fan-Favorite Mode is Missing
November 21, 2025 – The iconic map Nuketown is confirmed to be included in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, but a popular community feature from previous iterations will not be making a return. While the classic map will be available at launch, dedicated fans will find that the “Confirmed Kill” game mode is absent.
This omission marks a meaningful departure from past Black Ops titles where Nuketown and Confirmed Kill were frequently paired, creating a uniquely frantic and competitive experience. The decision has sparked debate among Call of Duty players, with many expressing disappointment over the loss of a beloved mode on the historically popular map. Currently, Activision has not publicly addressed the reasoning behind removing Confirmed Kill.
