NTR Podcast Prize 2025 Winners: Van Gool & Golterman Awarded

Hilversum, Netherlands – September 15, 2025 ‌- ⁣Annelore van ​Gool and Nick Golterman have been jointly‍ awarded the prestigious NTR Podcast Prize ​2025 for their innovative fiction podcasts, ‍”the Last Border” and “True Crime rectum,” respectively. The announcement followed a final judging event held ⁤Sunday, September 14th, at⁤ the NTR building in Hilversum.

Van Gool, a student at RITCS in Brussels, captivated the ​jury with ‌”The ​Last Border,” ​a ​science fiction narrative exploring themes of space⁣ migration and colonization. Golterman’s “True Crime‌ Rectum” impressed with⁢ its unique take on the true crime genre,presenting a comic whodunnit that concurrently critiques and embraces the popular format.

Jury chairman Maya Schepers lauded the exceptionally high ‌quality‍ and ⁣originality⁤ demonstrated by all ten nominees this year. The competition showcased​ a ‌diverse range of podcasting talent and storytelling ‌approaches.

In‌ a separate audience⁤ vote, Jakob‍ Koolschijn’s podcast, “In Front to the Moluccas,” secured the audience ‌prize, garnering​ 33% of over 1,700 votes cast. ⁢ Additionally, Elise Le‍ Tutour and ramses‌ Mensink were recognized with ​a coaching⁤ voucher, awarded by the Dutch ⁢Directors guild,⁢ for their podcast entry,⁤ “She⁤ Enters​ the Room.”
