I was with Albirex Niigata for 4 seasons. Looking back, I have had good times and bad times, and have felt a variety of emotions. I can’t say that everything was fulfilling, but I have no regrets about the four years I spent at Niigata, and I intend to do my best on and off the pitch.

During the season I joined Niigata, the new coronavirus pandemic hit, and there were many difficult things for both the team and the supporters. Still, I think we were able to get promoted to J1 last year because we overcame adversity with everyone involved in Niigata, and I felt that Albirex Niigata was indispensable to the Niigata area.

That’s why, as I feel everyone’s voices and applause on my back, I want to fight even more for Niigata, but I’ll take it seriously and take the next step so that I can return to Denka Big Swan Stadium as a soccer player. But I want to do my best.

During the time I spent in Niigata, I really came to love the place. Although my body has moved away from Niigata, I will never leave my heart. We look forward to seeing you again next time you come to Niigata. Thank you very much for your overwhelming support.
