Race Recap: Jakarta E-Prix

Rain and muddy conditions plagued the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit, impacting qualifying. Rowland, starting 16th, and teammate Norman Nato, 21st, faced a tough session. Rowland climbed the ranks, breaking into the top ten. However, a five-second penalty pushed him down to tenth place. This incident is under review.

Nato, adopting a different strategy, advanced through the field. A well-timed Safety Car during his Attack Mode compromised his race, yet he still achieved the fastest lap and gained seven positions, finishing 14th. The team is looking ahead.

“We executed a very good race after a disappointing qualifying, managing to gain nine places before the penalty demoted us to P10. I was still able to extend my lead in the Drivers’ Championship by a point, which could still be very important at the end of the season, but we want more than that as we’ve got close battles in the Teams’ and Manufacturers’ Standings,”
