Nine Inch Nails Tour Begins with Josh Freese – Setlist & Footage

Trent Reznor is back on tour wiht Nine Inch nails, reigniting a celebrated stage presence and contributing to performances lauded for their intensity and production quality. The announcement follows a period where Reznor reflected on the unique fulfillment derived from live shows.

Reznor, speaking about his experiences, stated the satisfaction following each performance was “something I’ve rarely experienced anywhere else,” describing it as a “certainty” fueled by “intensity, pride and satisfaction.” He is currently touring with the band, assisting in delivering their signature live experience.

Nine Inch Nails‘ recent performance at Mad cool Festival in Madrid, Spain on July 13, 2024, received high praise from NME, who described the show as “vintage Nails.” The review highlighted the band’s commitment to maintaining their legacy, citing “exquisite visuals” and “effortless on-stage rapport” as key components of a “sensational outing.”

The current tour schedule includes dates across North America and europe throughout 2024 and 2025, with stops in cities like Toronto (August 23, 2024 at Budweiser Stage), Chicago (August 25, 2024 at Huntington Bank Pavilion), and London (November 27, 2024 at The O2 Arena). tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the band’s official website.

Beyond touring, Reznor and collaborator Atticus Ross are also spearheading “Future Ruins,” a new festival dedicated to film and television scoring. The inaugural event, scheduled for December 7-8, 2024, at Los Angeles’ Banc of California Stadium, will feature performances and discussions with prominent composers including Danny Elfman (known for his work on The Nightmare Before Christmas and Batman), John Carpenter (composer of iconic horror scores like Halloween and Escape from New York), Hildur Guðnadóttir (Oscar winner for Joker), Cristobal Tapia de Veer (known for his scores for Sharp Objects and Severance), and Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein (of S U R V I V E, composers for Stranger Things).
