Nikon Z f Silver: New Color & Film Grain Feature Announced

Nikon Announces Silver⁣ Edition of Popular Z f Mirrorless Camera

TOKYO – Nikon Corporation has announced‌ the release of a ‌silver ⁣version ​of its⁤ full-frame/FX-format Z f mirrorless‌ camera, ‍responding to​ customer⁢ demand. The ⁣Z f combines a retro design inspired by classic Nikon film cameras with modern ⁣full-frame performance.Since its initial​ launch, the Z f has proven popular with ⁢photographers. Alongside the new silver finish, nikon is adding three new color options – Cognac Brown (embossed texture), Teal blue, and Mauve Pink – to its Premium Exterior customization program, available for ⁢both the new silver and⁤ original black Z f versions.

A future⁢ firmware update, scheduled for release within 2025, will introduce a Film Grain‍ feature, allowing users to ‌add adjustable grain to both photos and videos with three⁢ size options and six strength options. Nikon⁤ states this feature, combined with Imaging Recipes and picture Controls, will ‌expand creative possibilities ⁤and enable film-like⁤ expression.

Nikon says it will continue to innovate in optical⁣ performance and contribute to the development of imaging culture.
