Tallinn Nightlife Advocates Return from Berlin wiht Blueprint for 2024 Initiative
A delegation of Estonian nightlife representatives, led by the CCI Contact Desk and the City of Tallinn, completed a research trip to Berlin’s “Stadt nach acht” conference November 16-18, seeking strategies to bolster the country’s creative industries. The conference, an interdisciplinary forum dedicated to night culture, provided key insights for a planned project in Tallinn next year.
Following an open call, three Estonian “night culture actors” joined the CCI Contact Desk in Berlin, benefiting from the support of Estonian nightlife organizations and international partners like the Clubcommission Berlin. The team focused on gathering best practices and innovative approaches to strengthen night culture,a sector often undervalued within the broader creative landscape. The findings will directly inform the Tallinn project, aiming to convene industry stakeholders and shape the future of Estonia‘s nightlife scene.
The CCI Contact desk initiative underscores a growing recognition of the economic and cultural importance of nighttime economies, and the need for collaborative strategies to support their sustainable advancement.Further details regarding the 2024 Tallinn event will be released in the coming months.
