FC Deining has experienced a‍ remarkable surge in popularity, becoming a⁣ standout success story within the Neumarkt district and beyond. The bavarian Table ⁤Tennis⁤ Association first noted the club’s‍ unusual growth five years ago, and the momentum continues today.

This unexpected boom‌ transforms 1. FC⁢ Deining ⁢into one‌ of ⁣the largest⁤ table tennis clubs in the Upper Palatinate-Süd region, boasting six men’s teams and three⁣ youth teams – ‍exceeding the membership of any⁣ other ⁤club in ​the district. department head Michael Sturm attributes the growth⁢ to‌ dedicated effort and a ​strong sense of community. “This growth is the result of hard work, ‍but above all ⁣our strong sense of‍ community. For us, ‌the ‘we-feeling’ is the focus,” he said.

Players like Matthias⁤ Sippl and Torsten Mendel, who joined the club five years​ ago, ‌echo ⁢this sentiment. “It’s just⁢ a lot of‍ fun with this group,” Sippl‍ explained. “You promptly feel welcome.” Both now ⁣serve as team captains, demonstrating their ​commitment to‍ the department’s ‍success.
