Thunder-timberwolves Rivalry Highlighted in 2025-26 NBA Schedule

The Oklahoma City Thunder are set to be ⁣a focal point‍ of national broadcasts⁤ in the upcoming 2025-26 NBA season, a testament to ⁢their status as championship favorites.The league recently released the full‌ schedule,‍ revealing the Thunder will appear⁣ on national television 34 times ​- tied with the Los Angeles lakers,‌ Golden State Warriors, and New York ⁢Knicks for ⁣the most among all teams.

A key driver of this attention will ​be the highly anticipated rematch of the 2025 Western Conference Finals against the Minnesota timberwolves. All four regular season matchups between the ‌two teams have been slated for national television coverage, capitalizing on the burgeoning rivalry between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Anthony Edwards.

The first contest will take place on wednesday, November 26th, as part‌ of the inaugural NBA Cup group play stage, broadcast on ESPN. Just⁤ over a ‌month later,on friday,December 19th,the Thunder will travel to Minnesota ⁤for a game airing on Amazon Prime,a new broadcast partner for the NBA this season.

The two teams will meet again in⁤ Minnesota ⁤on Thursday, January 29th, ⁣also on ‌Amazon Prime. The final⁣ regular season clash will be a primetime Sunday afternoon game on ABC, scheduled for March 15th at 12 p.m. CT, and positioned as part of the league’s post-Super Bowl‌ showcase.
