NBA Schedule: Kings, Suns, Nuggets & Magic – March 26th Games

The Orlando Magic defeated the Sacramento Kings 130-111 on Wednesday, ending a four-game losing streak, while the Denver Nuggets are set to face the Phoenix Suns tonight.

Orlando’s victory, achieved with a 56.8 percent field goal percentage and 16 of 31 three-pointers made, marked a significant offensive turnaround for the team. They had previously failed to reach 100 points in their prior three games on a Western road trip. Franz Wagner led the Magic with 31 points, including a crucial 16 in the third quarter. Paolo Banchero contributed 23 points and nine assists.

The Magic’s coach, Jamahl Mosley, described the win as a “gritty and spirited effort,” emphasizing the team’s focus on controlling what they could and playing collectively. The team converted 17 Kings turnovers into 28 points, building a lead that reached 30 points at one stage. The win improves Orlando’s record to 25-27, placing them eighth in the Eastern Conference, a half-game behind Detroit for seventh and 1.5 games behind Miami for sixth.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings, who had gone 5-5 in their last 10 games, suffered a defeat on their home court. The Kings currently hold the league’s fourth-worst record, giving them a 12.5% chance of securing the No. 1 pick in June’s draft. Dennis Schröder and the Kings were later defeated by the Denver Nuggets.

Tonight’s schedule includes a matchup between the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets, a game with significant playoff implications. Denver is currently tied with Minnesota for fourth place in the Western Conference, a half-game ahead of Houston. The Suns, still, face an uphill battle, with ESPN’s Basketball Power Index giving them less than a 3% chance of moving out of the play-in tournament. The game is scheduled for 11 p.m. ET on NBC/Peacock.

Also on Tuesday, the Detroit Pistons defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, ending the Lakers’ nine-game winning streak. Other Tuesday games included the Sacramento Kings at Charlotte Hornets, the New Orleans Pelicans at New York Knicks, and the Orlando Magic at Cleveland Cavaliers.
