National Natural Science Foundation of China Announces Release of Three 2025 Project Submission Guides
The National natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) has announced the release of application guides for three key projects under its 2025 funding scheme. The guides are now available via the Science Foundation Network Information System at https://grants.nsfc.gov.cn.
The three projects are:
* “Frontier Exploration of Molpin Belt System Association and Topological Quantum Phase State”: This is an Original Exploration Plan Project.
* “multi-band Observation and Key Technologies Based on Optical and Submillimeter Wave”: This is a special project focused on advanced observation techniques.
* “Front-edge physics and application based on X-ray free electron laser”: Another special project, this one concentrating on the applications of X-ray free electron lasers.
The NSFC encourages all interested units and applicants to log into the Science Foundation Network Information System and access the guides within the ”Project management-Project Guidelines” module. Applicants are advised to carefully review the requirements and precautions detailed in each project guide before submitting their proposals.
The notices, all dated September 23, 2025, were issued by the Department of Mathematics Physics Science of the National Natural Science foundation of China.
