Natalie Harp’s Resurfaced Jan 6 Tweets Reveal 150 Pro-Trump Posts
Natalie Harp, a special assistant to the president, posted over 150 pro-Trump messages on X, formerly known as Twitter, on January 6, 2021. According to reporting by CNN, the now-deactivated account featured repeated endorsements of claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen, alongside expressions of support for demonstrators gathered at the U.S. Capitol.
## Social Media Activity on January 6
The posts authored by Harp, who was 29 at the time, frequently echoed talking points regarding the election outcome. In one instance, she typed “FIGHT FOR TRUMP!” 12 times in a single post. Throughout the day, she described the crowd assembled for the president’s speech as “patriots” and issued a call to action, stating, “today we STOP THE STEAL!”
As the events of the day unfolded, Harp continued to post, writing during the president’s speech, “We will never give up. We will never concede!” Other posts from that day included the declaration, “Today, DC is TRUMP COUNTRY!”
## Broader Support for Election Fraud Narratives
The social media activity reported by CNN indicates that Harp’s public alignment with the president’s election-fraud narrative predated the Capitol riot. In the weeks leading up to January 6, she told her followers, “We will never give up – for TRUTH is on our side. January 6th is coming!!”
Records of the account also show Harp’s reaction to the November 2020 election results, where she posted, “WE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU! x 71 million.” On December 14, 2020, she characterized the certification of the results as “THIS IS A COUP.” In a separate 2021 interview with then-congressional candidate Karoline Leavitt, which was unearthed recently, Harp claimed that Donald Trump had won the state of New Hampshire, despite official results showing he trailed Joe Biden by 7.4 percent.
## Current Role and Institutional Scrutiny
Harp, now 35, serves as a special assistant to the president and executive assistant, with an annual salary of $150,000. Within the Trump administration, she has become known for her near-constant presence alongside the president and her role in providing him with printed materials, earning her the unofficial title of “human printer.”
Recent scrutiny of Harp has extended beyond her social media history to include her personal correspondence with the president. The Daily Beast reported on letters written by Harp in 2023 in which she referred to Trump as her “Guardian and Protector in this Life” and wrote, “You are all that matters to me.”
The X account referenced in these reports was opened in 2016 and appears to be suspended. It remains unconfirmed whether the account was deactivated by Harp or the platform.
