Naples Beachfront Estate Sells for $71M Off-Market
An off-market deal brought $71 million for a freshly finished beachfront estate located at 2050 Gordon Drive within Naples’ Gordon Drive Estates. The seven-bedroom residence sits on 1.58 acres with approximately 150 feet of Gulf frontage, according to Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.
Property Details and Construction Background
The newly constructed residence spans 9,551 square feet of air-conditioned space and more than 21,400 total square feet. Completed in 2026, the home includes seven full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, six garage spaces, a guest suite, an elevator, European oak flooring, and custom mahogany doors.
Two Naples-based firms designed and built the structure: Stofft Cooney Architects and Equinox Construction Group. Outside, the property features a heated pool and spa overlooking the Gulf, complemented by motorized screens and shutters.
Collier County property records show the land was previously owned by the 2050 Gordon Drive Land Trust. Scott Gibbs Clawson, CEO of water company Culligan, purchased the vacant property for $29.99 million in 2022.

Brokers Represent Property in Private Sale
The private sale of the property was handled by Paul Arpin, Pete Reppucci, and Michael Giacalone, who operate out of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty’s Broad Avenue office. Collier County property records have not yet been updated to reflect the identity of the buyer.
Budge Huskey, CEO of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, noted that high-end transactions in Southwest Florida now rival traditional coastal strongholds. “As market observers, for years we espoused the many virtues of Naples… while also noting it can’t command the prices seen in east coast markets such as Palm Beach and Miami,” Huskey said in a statement. “That is no longer the case, and we now must acknowledge there are no limits.”
Arpin emphasized the role of privacy in transactions of this scale. “As is the case with ultra luxury buyers and sellers, transactions of this magnitude often happen quietly,” Arpin stated. “The ability to connect the right parties privately becomes particularly important when you are dealing with properties that are not broadly available and buyers who value discretion.”
Shifting Price Ceilings in Naples Luxury Real Estate
Sales exceeding $60 million have transitioned from anomalous records to a recurring fixture of the local market. In June, 2100 Gordon Drive sold for $86 million, and in September, the property at 20 14th Ave. S. changed hands for $62.5 million, according to Collier County property records.
Arpin previously handled a $62.5 million deal for a home at 25 16th Ave. S. in Naples in 2022, which stood as a record at the time. “We are witnessing a new era of luxury real estate in Naples, where sales above $60 million happen more than once a year,” Arpin said.
