Naj ah University Delegation Visits UAE-Palestine Friendship Club

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – A delegation from An-Najah National University in Nablus visited the Emirates-Palestinian Friendship Club in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, to discuss potential collaborations and strengthen community partnerships, according to reports from Palestinian news agencies.

The delegation included Ahmad Al-Sarghli, Advisor to the University President for Public Relations and Marketing Communications; Dr. Walid Sweileh, Dean of Scientific Research and Director of Global Academic Rankings; and Jalal Salman, Coordinator of the Activities and Protocol Unit in the Public Relations Department.

During the meeting, the delegation conveyed greetings from Dr. Rami Al-Hamdallah, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of An-Najah National University and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National University Hospital and from University President Dr. Abdul Nasser Zaid. They emphasized the university’s commitment to fostering cooperation with influential institutions and enhancing its academic and community presence regionally and internationally, as reported by Sada News and Shabab FM.

The delegation met with the club’s president, Mr. Ammar Al-Kurdy, and several members of the board of directors. The discussions focused on exploring avenues for joint cooperation and bolstering community partnerships between the two entities, according to Ma’an News Agency and ARN.ps.

University officials stated that the visit represents an vital step towards expanding academic and community collaboration, reflecting a shared vision for building effective and sustainable partnerships, ARN.ps reported.
