MXGP Riders Explore Shanghai Waterways Ahead of China Return
SHANGHAI, CHINA – September 12, 2024 – Leading MXGP riders took too the canals of Shanghai today, September 12, 2024, for a unique promotional event ahead of the Oriental Beauty Valley MXGP of China, marking the series’ highly anticipated return to the country after a four-year hiatus. The presentation showcased the sport to a local audience and provided riders with a novel experience before competition begins.
The Oriental Beauty Valley MXGP of China, scheduled for September 14-15, 2024, represents a significant moment for both the championship and the growing popularity of motocross within China. The event,sanctioned by the FIM and organized in collaboration with Infront Moto Racing,aims to capitalize on the increasing interest in motorsports within the region and further establish MXGP’s presence in the Asian market. This return follows a period of logistical challenges and pandemic-related restrictions that previously prevented racing in China.
