According to the report,during prime time,Fox News averaged 2,081,000 total viewers and 218,000 viewers in the Adults 25-54 demo. MSNBC drew 738,000 total viewers and 67,000 in the key demo, while CNN recorded 362,000 total viewers and 69,000 in the 25-54 category.
Looking at the total day figures, Fox News maintained its lead with 1,383,000 total viewers and 151,000 Adults 25-54. However, MSNBC showed enhancement with 494,000 total viewers and 47,000 in the demo, surpassing CNN’s 314,000 total viewers and 50,000 Adults 25-54.
In weekly show rankings, Fox News dominated, securing 14 of the 15 most-watched cable news programs. The Five led with 3.435 million total viewers at 5 p.m. ET. MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show, airing Mondays at 9 p.m. ET, landed at No. 10 with 1.850 million total viewers and No. 13 in the Adults 25-54 demo with 162,000 viewers. The Five also topped the Adults 25-54 demo, averaging 311,000 viewers.
