Motorola unveiled its 2026 strategy focusing on luxury, style, and fashion at a February 10th event held in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, according to a statement released by the company. The event, designed as an immersive experience for a select group of Mexican influencers, showcased Motorola’s commitment to a more premium aesthetic across its product lines.
The company’s approach extends beyond its high-finish “Signature” line, incorporating elevated materials and Pantone colors into the Moto G series, moving away from traditional plastic construction. The Motorola Signature model features 1 TB of storage, 16 GB of RAM, Dolby Atmos, and 8K video recording capabilities. Carlos Guevara of Reforma reported on the event, noting the setting of a Bariloche resort was chosen to emphasize the brand’s fresh focus.
The launch of the new Motorola Edge 70 in Latin America also took place in San Carlos de Bariloche on February 10th, as reported by pisapapeles.net. The Edge 70 boasts a MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability rating, along with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance. The device is notably lightweight at 159 grams and exceptionally thin at 5.99 millimeters. It features a 6.7-inch Extreme AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
Motorola’s presence in Bariloche extends beyond product launches. A Motorola service center is located at Rolando 172 in the city, offering repairs, accessory sales, and device shipments throughout Argentina, according to Guía Bariloche.
The Edge 70’s camera system includes a 50 MP main lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view. The front-facing camera is also 50 MP. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.
