Morocco Hospital Projects: Minister Assesses Healthcare Improvements

Minister ⁣Tahraoui⁤ Inspects healthcare Facilities in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra Region

Minister of Health⁣ and Social Protection,‌ Amine Tahraoui, conducted a ⁢visit to several healthcare facilities in the ⁢Rabat-Salé-Kenitra ‍region on Thursday, September 11th, as part of a national initiative to modernize Morocco’s health system and ensure equitable access to quality care. the visit aligns‌ with national‌ priorities focused on improving health services for all ⁤citizens.

During a tour of the moulay Youssef hospital ​center in Rabat, Minister Tahraoui assessed the functionality of various departments, including inpatient care units, specialized medical services, and outpatient facilities. The focus was⁣ on evaluating the quality of care provided⁣ and identifying⁤ areas for ‍improvement‍ to enhance patient outcomes.

Preparations for the September 15th opening of a new resuscitation service at Moulay Youssef⁣ hospital were also reviewed. The unit is equipped with ​eight state-of-the-art biomedical beds⁢ and equipment, designed to increase capacity for critical care and alleviate pressure on other regional hospitals.

The Minister also followed up on ongoing health projects in⁢ Témara and ​Tamena. At the Lalla Aïcha hospital center in Témara, he examined service operations and ongoing efforts to improve the quality of care‌ for the local population.

In Tamesna, Minister Tahraoui visited‍ the construction⁤ site of the new ‍local⁣ hospital, currently nearing completion. The 80 million dirham facility⁤ will ⁤provide 45 beds ‍and is expected⁢ to serve over 60,000 ‍residents, considerably expanding healthcare access in the region.

Throughout the inspection tour,⁣ Minister Tahraoui emphasized the importance of adhering to ⁤project timelines and maintaining⁢ rigorous technical standards‍ to guarantee the quality and long-term viability of⁣ healthcare infrastructure. This visit is part of a broader national program dedicated to monitoring and supporting projects aimed at modernizing the health system and delivering⁤ on ongoing reforms to benefit citizens.
