Sydney Businessman Acquires Record-Breaking Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 400R for $AU1.5 Million
Sydney businessman Lecha Khouri has purchased a Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 400R for $AU1.5 million, setting a new world record for the model. This acquisition follows the sale of a unique Nismo Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 LM, details of which were previously reported.
The collector market’s renewed interest in JDM classics raises the question of whether another record could be set at the Monterey auctions in 2025, especially considering the RM Sotheby’s 400R sale was for a standard example.
