Moller Auto Portfolio of Three Car Centers in Riga Put Up for Sale
Three specialized car dealership properties in Riga and Marupe have been placed on the commercial real estate market with a combined leasable area exceeding 15,000 square meters, Colliers reported. The portfolio belongs to Møller Eiendom and features 100 percent occupancy by Moller Auto Latvia, generating a steady long-term income stream for potential buyers.
Auto Retail Properties Sit on High-Visibility Latvian Corridors
The properties sit on high-visibility commercial corridors at 115 Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, 86 Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, and 54 Krasta street. Each site was purpose-built for automotive retail and technical maintenance. They combine customer showrooms, service workshops, and dedicated infrastructure designed specifically for vehicle distribution. Anžela Kolesnikova, Head of Investment Transactions at Colliers Baltics, stated that such specialized auto retail portfolios rarely appear on the Latvian investment market. She added that the offering combines strategic locations, full occupancy, long-term lease relationships, and a tenant backed by an international group.
Moller Auto Latvia operates as the exclusive representative for Volkswagen and Audi in Riga and serves as one of the leading authorized automotive dealers and service providers in Latvia. The company employs approximately 250 workers and has maintained a presence in Latvia for over 30 years. Financial statements for 2024 show the tenant generated revenue exceeding 122 million euros while capturing a 16 percent market share.
Møller Eiendom Sells Assets During Strategic Restructuring
Møller Eiendom initiated the sale as part of a wider strategic restructuring of its asset portfolio. Thomas Sletten, Investment Director at Møller Eiendom, noted that the company has maintained constructive cooperation with the tenant since developing the sites, and expressed confidence that the properties will remain in the hands of competent and professional investors going forward. Following the completion of the sale, Moller Auto Latvia will remain in the buildings as a long-term tenant. Daily retail and customer service operations will continue without interruption under the new ownership, and the Colliers Baltics team is representing the seller as the exclusive consultant and representative in the process.
Møller Mobility Group, a Northern European automotive and mobility company, operates with a workforce of approximately 4,600 employees and annual revenues exceeding 49 billion Norwegian kroner. Neither the sellers nor the exclusive sales representative, Colliers Baltics, have publicly disclosed an asking price for the portfolio.
