Antioquia’s Vanessa Pulgarín Crowned Miss Universe Colombia 2025
BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA – vanessa Pulgarín Monsalve, representing Antioquia, has been named Miss Universe Colombia 2025. The crowning took place amidst a national competition featuring 28 candidates from across Colombia.
Pulgarín’s victory positions her to represent Colombia on the international stage at the Miss Universe competition. The Miss Universe Colombia organization outlined strict eligibility requirements for contestants this year, including a minimum age of 18 by June 15, 2025, Colombian citizenship with six months of continuous residency, portrayal of their birth department or recent residency, a clean criminal record, English language proficiency, and a history free of inappropriate content.
The 2025 candidates included representatives from Arauca, Atlantic, Bogotá DC, Bolívar, boyacá, Caldas, Caquetá, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, La Guajira, Huila, Magdalena, Goal, Nariño, Norte de Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, and Valle del Cauca. Other notable contestants were Adriana Hernández Jaimes of Arauca, Nayla Piña Vélez of Atlantic, and Eliana Duque Salazar of Valle del Cauca.
