Miss Universe 2025 candidates who were left out of the competition

Unexpected Shifts in‍ Miss Universe 2025 Lineup⁢ as candidates Face Dismissal

the road to the Miss Universe 2025 crown has been unexpectedly rocky for several national representatives, with both Miss Universe Poland and miss Universe Democratic Republic of the Congo facing removal ⁢from the competition under differing circumstances. These developments have triggered a scramble for replacements and raised questions ‍about‍ the stability of national pageant organizations.

The ‌shakeups come as preparations for the November 2025 competition⁣ in Thailand intensify. Oliwia Mikulska, previously crowned Miss⁣ Universe ⁢Poland, lost her position after Miss Polski, the institution ‍that licensed her participation, itself⁢ lost its license.‌ Consequently, Emily Reng was named as Poland’s replacement⁤ representative.Similarly, Déborah Djema, Miss Universe Democratic Republic of the Congo, was removed from contention in early September after refusing to sign her‌ contract, according to the Miss Universe RDC Committee. She was required to remove‌ all evidence of her win and participation.

After both first and second finalists were unavailable due to prior commitments, Dorcas ⁤Dienda Kasinde was appointed as the new representative for the Democratic Republic of the Congo. These incidents highlight⁣ the complex logistical and contractual challenges inherent ‌in international pageantry and the ‍potential for last-minute changes impacting national participation.
