Miss Arkansas Advances to Semi-finals at Miss America 2026
ORLANDO, Fla. - Kennedy Holland, representing the state of Arkansas, delivered a strong performance at the Miss America 2026 competition held in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday evening, earning a coveted spot among the top 11 semi-finalists.
Holland, a 20-year-old student at the University of Central Arkansas and hailing from Greenwood, arkansas, competed against 52 contestants for the national title. Her advancement marks a meaningful achievement, showcasing her talent, poise, and dedication.
Just weeks prior, on June 14th, Holland was crowned Miss Arkansas 2025, competing as Miss Metro. Her victory paved the way for her participation in the national pageant.
Beyond the competition stage, Holland is deeply committed to her community service initiative, “Compassion Legacy.” This platform focuses on advocating for and securing funding for adaptive recreational spaces. According to a recent press release, Holland aims to “create inclusive environments where individuals of all abilities can enjoy safe, accessible, and enriching recreational opportunities.”
While Holland didn’t advance to the final five – which include representatives from Texas, Alabama, new York, Georgia, and Florida – her performance has undoubtedly brought pride to Arkansas. The competition continues, with the final five vying for the title of Miss America 2026.
