‘Mina the Hollower‘ Release Pushed Back, Yacht club Games Cites Need for Polish
October 26, 2023 – Fans anticipating the release of Mina the Hollower will have to wait longer, as Yacht Club Games announced today that the action-adventure title will no longer launch on its originally scheduled date of October 31st.
The studio, known for the critically acclaimed Shovel Knight series, stated in a blog post that progress is in its final stages. “We’re playing it from start to finish every day,” they wrote, emphasizing the team’s current focus on finalizing design elements, art assets, and sound implementation. Game balancing, localization for multiple regions, and rigorous platform testing are also underway.
While acknowledging the disappointment, Yacht Club Games stressed that the delay is intended to ensure a high-quality final product.”We don’t want to announce another release date until it’s submitted to platforms,so please hang tight as we reach the finish line,” the studio explained.
Yacht Club Games issued a formal apology,stating,”With that said,we would like to apologize! Nevertheless,we will not waver on our commitment to quality. Our goal is to make sure our development team has the time and resources to deliver an unbelievable adventure and we will be giving you just that. That’s no hollow promise!”
