Military Tribute Weekend Announced: FOX Sports

October 25, 2026 Lucas Fernandez – World Editor World

FOX Sports will execute a two-day military salute across its college football and NFL coverage ahead of Veterans Day, continuing the network’s commemoration of the nation’s 250th birthday. The tribute spans November 7 and November 8, broadcasting live from key military institutions with major broadcast teams.

The network scheduled the programming to honor members of the U.S. armed forces at historic locations. “FOX Sports is proud to expand our longstanding tradition of saluting America’s military heroes by bringing together two of our most iconic pregame shows for an unprecedented two-day tribute from West Point and Annapolis,” FOX Sports CEO and executive producer Eric Shanks said, as reported by foxnews.com.

Broadcast Schedule at West Point and Annapolis

The sequence of broadcasts begins on Saturday, Nov. 7. At 10 a.m. ET, Big Noon Kickoff will broadcast live from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Hundreds of uniformed cadets will join college football fans on site ahead of the matchup between Army and Air Force. The broadcast features Rob Stone, Urban Meyer, Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn, Mark Ingram II, Chris “The Bear” Fallica, and Tom Rinaldi live from Trophy Point.

The programming continues the following morning on Sunday, Nov. 8. At 11 a.m. ET, FOX NFL Sunday will broadcast live simultaneously from West Point and the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The backdrop features the academy’s Bancroft Hall. The Sunday broadcast team includes Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Rob Gronkowski, Jay Glazer, Charissa Thompson, Charles Woodson, and Julian Edelman.

Military Academies Host Event During Veterans Day Weekend

The two-day event ties athletic coverage directly to the country’s military academies. “There is no more meaningful backdrop than these two storied institutions, and we look forward to celebrating America’s veterans and the enduring bond between military service and sports across Veterans Day weekend,” Shanks stated, according to foxnews.com.
