Mick Foley Praises Megan Bayne After Brutal AEW Blood and Guts Match
Megan Bayne bled profusely from her head and wore a crimson mask almost from the moment she entered the steel cage to face Kris Statlander during All Elite Wrestling’s Blood and Guts special.
The steel cage match on Dynamite placed competitors in brutal territory as Bayne took a chair to the head and suffered a face-first drop from an electric chair maneuver executed by Statlander.
Inside the 45-Minute Skirmish
Willow Nightingale entered the skirmish and taunted Bayne for the cameras during the roughly 45-minute contest.
Nightingale showed off her opponent’s bloody face to viewers as the violence escalated inside the structure.
The Decisive Finish
The team consisting of Statlander, Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Alex Windsor, Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata secured the victory when Julia Hart tapped out.
Bayne competed alongside teammates Lena Kross, Thekla, Julia Hart, Skye Blue and Persephone in the defeat.

Mick Foley Weighs In
Following the event, pro wrestling legend Mick Foley offered praise for the competitors on Instagram.
Calling the contest pure insanity, Foley wrote that the participants earned his respect and described them as truly hardcore, adding that the match will define Megan Bayne’s career in retrospect.

Bayne’s Division Rise
Bayne’s presence in the division has grown since her return to the company in 2025. She also competed in the previous year’s Blood and Guts match, which marked the first time a women’s match was featured in the special.
Bayne and Kross held the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship for 168 days beginning in March after dethroning Nightingale and Cameron at Revolution.
