Tbilisi, Georgia – Mexico will send a 40-person delegation to the 2025 MMA World championships, hosted by the International mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) in Tbilisi, Georgia, from September 27 to October 2. The Mexican Federation of Mixed martial Arts (FAMM) confirmed the team’s participation, signaling a important step in the nation’s growth within the amateur MMA circuit.
The competition will gather top amateur MMA athletes globally, providing a crucial platform for Mexican athletes to showcase their skills and elevate the sport’s profile within the country. Led by FAMM President Ubaldo Marroquín Rodríguez and Vice President Agustín Guzmán Arellano, the delegation includes athletes, coaches, and delegates prepared to compete at the highest level. “Forty people form the Mexican delegation…and we are ready to do the best in the 2025 World Cup of Mixed Martial Arts in Georgia,” stated Guzmán Arellano.
FAMM is prioritizing intensive training and strategic preparation to promote national talent and achieve international recognition for Mexico.
