Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Set to Launch December 4, 2025
After a lengthy and turbulent development cycle, nintendo has officially announced a release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – December 4, 2025. The highly anticipated sequel will arrive on both Nintendo Switch and the forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2,marking a importent moment for fans of the critically acclaimed series.
The announcement resolves years of uncertainty surrounding the project,which was originally revealed in 2017 before being rebooted under a new development team. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond casts players as bounty hunter Samus Aran,stranded on the mysterious planet Viewros. Players will utilize scanning techniques, advanced weaponry, and Samus’s new Psy abilities, powered by the VI-o-la engine, to navigate the environment and uncover the secrets of the planet.
Nintendo details that players must leverage all available resources to survive and escape Viewros. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is currently available for pre-order as a “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition,” though a standard Nintendo Switch version will launch simultaneously.
