A 26-year-old childcare worker in Victoria, Australia, **Brown**, is facing serious charges related to alleged abuse at a learning center, prompting a large-scale health response. Authorities are working to identify potential victims and inform their families.

**Brown** was charged with 70 counts related to abuse allegedly perpetrated against eight children, some as young as five months old, at the Creative Garden Early Learning Centre in Point Cook between April 2022 and January 2023, according to Victoria Police and the state government.
One of the charges against **Brown** is that he recklessly contaminated goods to cause alarm or anxiety. This charge relates to allegations he added bodily fluids to children’s food, officials stated.
Scope of the Investigation
Since beginning in the childcare industry in 2017, **Brown** has worked at 20 different childcare centers. As a result, more than 1,200 children are undergoing testing for sexually transmitted infections due to concerns that they might have been exposed.
