Medical Education⁤ at ⁢a⁣ Crossroads: ‍Webinar Explores AI’s Impact

The Teaching Medical Chapter,in collaboration with Colmed Santiago,is launching a new forum for discussion‌ and reflection geared towards physicians and‍ medical professionals​ involved in or interested in medical education.The inaugural event will focus on the rapidly evolving landscape of medical education ⁢in the age of artificial intelligence.

Leading‍ the ‍conversation will ⁢be Álvaro Herrera, President of the Teaching Medical Chapter, and ‍Óscar Jeréz, Director of the Medicine Teaching and Learning Center at the University of Chile. Jeréz also serves as ⁤Regional Vice President of the International society for the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (ISSOTL).

The webinar, titled “Medical Education Networks​ in Times of Artificial Intelligence,” will⁣ delve into the ways technological advancements​ are reshaping‍ teaching methodologies, clinical practice, and ⁢the preparation of future healthcare professionals.The discussion will explore the challenges and opportunities presented ‌by ‍AI, ⁤and how medical education networks can adapt to ensure effective training.
