The Korean Society for Sleep Research announced that it held a regular academic conference in 2025 at the Kimgu Memorial Hall in Seoul on the 5th and 6th.
At the conference, about 400 experts and officials related to sleep medicine attended, and from basic science to smart sleep solutions using clinical applications, digital health and artificial intelligence. 110 lectures were held in a total of 43 sessions, and in particular, the Presidential Symposium focused on the innovative technology and future development direction of sleep medicine.
Park Kyung -soo (Samjung KPMG) presented the current status and industrial outlook of Sleep Tech, and Lee Dong -heon (A -Slip) introduced the sleep monitoring technology of the smartphone -based digital medical device ‘App Note Rock’ and presented a new possibility of digital healthcare.
In addition, Journal of Sleep Medicine (JSM), the official journal of the Korean Sleep Research Society, selected Bae Hyo -eun’s ‘Effect of CO2 Exposure to Insomnia Sleep Stability: A Study using Enbellop Analysis‘.
In addition, the excellent paper was selected as’ Cognitive Action Therapy using Methus’ by Yoo Jae -sung (Esmni, Catholic Wason University International St. Mary’s Sleep Medicine Research Institute), and ‘Deep Learning Research that predicts sleep disorders with’ active data data ‘by Professor Park Jung -ho (Samsung Seoul Hospital).
Academic Director of Ki -Hwan said, “I was able to confirm the tendency of the latest sleep studies by looking at the main papers that shine in 2024 through the ‘YEAR IN REVIEW‘ session. “We planned to help them.”
Chairman Shin Won -cheol said, “We hope that this conference will be a place for academic growth and cooperation by combining various fields of sleep medicine from basic science to clinical applications, digital health and artificial intelligence.”
