[메디게이트뉴스] The most urgent public health now is the expansion of mental and drug poisoning and rehabilitation hospitals. It is not a local medical center or a public medical school.
I have been a patron and director of Geoje Island, a residential facility for the disabled for over a decade, and witnessed all the difficulties of these facilities. In order to operate this properly, we realize that there is a need for sacrifice, patience, and a strong spirit of service.
Right now, there is no hospital that will accept a student who needs hospitalization in a mental hospital right now, so the anger rises to see the facility is in great difficulty. I know that this is not effective, but nevertheless, I can’t stand conscience.
Geoje Island, where only people with disabilities live, have been entered a long time ago, and young people with severe developmental disabilities, who are 32 years old, are so aggressive, so they sometimes break the facility, smoke, and employees are injured and resigned. There is a shortage of psychiatric hospitals, and existing hospitals cannot receive patients due to lack of personnel such as doctors and nurses.
It is public health that allows these patients to be hospitalized and treated when needed. Following the Moon Jae -in government, the Lee Jae -myung administration also argues that it will expand public health and establish a public medical school. It is the momentum of the Lee Jae -myung administration that progressive civic groups have been claiming indefinitely.
They always spread the fake news of public medical care and private medical care, and are side -by -side with dichotomy. Furthermore, it seems that public health is a free belief that it is free.
This distorted argument hinders the development of medical care, and it clues to the pain of the people who must receive medical services. In the end, it can be seen as a false incitement of politicians who are conscious of the table.
What is a true public health? Public medical care is a state replacing medical care for public interests that are difficult for private sectors.
The government is a public institution when the government pays for the establishment of medical institutions, and it is classified as a private medical institution when the private sector is paid, but in the actual acts, Korean medical care is almost all public medical care except for some non -insurance medical care such as beauty, plastic surgery. All medical care in a country, a public hospital or a local medical center called a public hospital, is no different from medical care in private hospitals.
Not only the distribution and treatment of patient and medical treatment, but also the designated system (a system that doctors or hospitals cannot reject the patient) and the government’s health insurance price are equally applied, it is all public health.
However, the public mental hospitals are ridiculously lacking, so many psychosis patients and their families are suffering. Even larger national disasters, drugs and drug addicts, which have recently soared, are not enough to receive treatment and rehabilitation. In fact, it is a situation.
What’s more pathetic is that even if you try to create a new mental hospital or drug addiction treatment hospital, it is not possible because of your non -phenomena. A few years ago, in Osan, Gyeonggi -do, there was a failure of the establishment of a mental hospital in the opposition to the residents and the local lawmakers who sympathized with them.
Existing mental hospitals are also very lacking in doctors and nurses. These are the public hospitals that the government needs to expand, establish, and invest right now. This is a true public medical institution that is neglected by the government. There is a doubt that the number of votes is not large.
In conclusion, the Lee Jae -myung administration’s work now is never the establishment of a local medical center and the establishment of a public medical school. The establishment and expansion of mental hospitals, addiction treatment, and rehabilitation hospitals is a true public medical care.
The government and local governments are personally suggesting two things about the movement of building or expanding local medical centers.
First, the lawmakers, the governor, the mayor, the city, the city, and the councilors of each province must establish a clause that the local medical center must first receive medical treatment when it is necessary. It is important to prevent the existing local medical centers, as well as local residents, as well as local politicians and civil servants who have insisted on and promoted the establishment.
