Matt Bellamy & Elle Evans Split: Muse Frontman Separates From Wife

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy and model Elle Evans have reportedly separated after six years of marriage, with the split occurring in October 2025, according to sources.

The pair, who share a daughter Lovella, age 5, and a son George, 21 months old, are now focused on co-parenting, an insider told The Sun. “Matt and Elle quietly separated last October, but their relationship remains amicable. They are now focused on co-parenting and continue to get along very well,” the source stated.

Neither Bellamy nor Evans have publicly confirmed or denied the reports of their separation. News of the split surfaced after Bellamy was photographed in London’s Notting Hill neighborhood without his wedding ring and accompanied by an unidentified woman, as reported by The Sun.

Bellamy and Evans began dating in 2015 after meeting on the set of Muse’s “Mercy” music video. They married in 2019. George, named after Bellamy’s father, was born on U.S. Mother’s Day (May 12, 2024), coinciding with the birthday of Evans’ mother, Julie.

The couple maintained a transatlantic lifestyle, dividing their time between the United Kingdom and Los Angeles, where Bellamy’s 14-year-old son Bingham, from a previous relationship with actress Kate Hudson, resides. Hudson expressed a willingness to assist with Bellamy’s children in May 2024, telling People magazine, “I just said, ‘Yeah, bring them over!’ I hang out with all the kids and I’m just happy that we have this sizeable, real family community. It’s stunning.”

Bellamy had previously indicated a desire to grow a U.S. Citizen in August 2022, while also expressing a wish to return to the UK with Evans and Lovella, contingent on Hudson and Bingham also relocating.

As of February 24, 2026, neither Bellamy nor Evans have issued a formal statement regarding their future plans or the details of their separation.
