Massive Explosion Swindon Warehouse Fire Wiltshire Emergency Services

A significant explosion⁤ rocked a warehouse⁢ on the Groundwell Industrial Estate‍ in Swindon, Wiltshire, at approximately 7:30 PM local time, prompting a​ large emergency‍ response.Police, fire, ​and ambulance crews are currently on⁢ scene managing the incident and working to ⁣contain a significant fire.

Wiltshire Police ⁢are evacuating the immediate vicinity of the blast as a ⁣precaution,but ​have advised residents‍ in surrounding⁤ areas to remain indoors,close ‌windows,and avoid the ​industrial ​estate. Chloe Hackett described a “massive explosion” that caused her house to⁤ “literally shake,” adding, “Huge fireball. Realy hope there is ​no one hurt and hope the emergency services keep ⁢safe from harm.” angela Willis​ stated,”I wondered what that huge noise was.​ Shook my doors. I ⁣thought someone ⁣was trying ​to ‍break⁣ in. ⁣I hope all ok for⁣ those involved and hoping nobody got hurt.” Another resident reported ‌feeling their “whole house shake,” commenting, “Swindon is literally on fire.”
