kilcooley, Ballymoe, Co. Galway,mourns the loss of Mary jo,formerly of Enfield,Ballintubber,Castlerea,Co. Roscommon. She passed away peacefully at The Sacred Heart care Home, Roscommon, surrounded by her family.
A Life of Family and Love
Mary Jo was predeceased by her husband, Seamus, and siblings Ned, Aidan, Nuala, and Olive. Her legacy lives on through her children:

- Yvonne (Keady, Mountmellick, Co. Laois)
- cabrini (O’Keeffe, Dublin)
- Michelle (Dolan, Ballintubber)
- Miriam (Reid, Ballymoe)
- Shane
She was a cherished grandmother to Bryan, Rebecca, Aodhan, Roisin, Alyssya, Alannah, Katie, Cathal, Adam, Charlie, Conor, Saoirse, Andrew, and oisin. Her surviving siblings include Ita (Keane, USA), Eileen (Gilroy, Dublin), Deirdre (Richardson, Dublin), and Declan (Ballintubber).
Family Remembrances
Mary Jo is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Pauline, and sons-in-law Eliazar (OB), Maurice, Donall, Gabriel, and Glenn. She will be deeply missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Visitation will be held at Flanagans Funeral Home, Ballymoe, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The funeral procession will depart on Sunday, May 25, 2025, arriving at St. Croan’s Church, Ballymoe, at 1 p.m. for the funeral Mass, followed by burial at Kilcroan Cemetery.
Remembrances and Donations
The family requests family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers might potentially be made to the Sacred Heart hospital Patient Comfort Fund.
